While the public workshops have all been completed, this collection of public stories can continue to grow.  If you’d like your watershed story to be included, please call 856-256-4830 and tell us what New Jersey water source is meaningful to you and why.  

A goal of this project is to express and share New Jersey residents’ watershed stories in their own words and voices.  Your participation can be anonymous (you may use a pseudonym, first name or initials) but not confidential (this is a public website).  Leaving a voicemail indicates that you are 18 years or older and voluntarily give your consent to participate in this project, including sharing your story on this public website.  If you wish to have your first name, initials, or a nickname connected to your story, please leave it on the voicemail. 

Feel free to send us an email indicating how you’d like your story to be integrated into our project.  You may also withdraw your participation at any time.  This is the full oral history consent form which contributors to this project have completed and it is our intention to honor the voices, stories, and wishes of all those who have participated.  

We hope New Jersey residents will feel a greater sense of connection to their waterways and each other through participating in this project.
